HISTORIC HUDSON COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION’S JOE KENNEDY SCHOLARSHIP WINNER
FOR 2020
Meet our most recent winner of the HHCA Joseph Kennedy Scholarship! Hailey is a senior at Newark High School who will be attending Ohio University in the fall. She is majoring in Applied Nutrition looking to become a Registered Dietitian with a personal goal of joining the fight against the obesity epidemic, allowing more people to achieve a happier and healthier life.
Hailey is the Valedictorian for the Class of 2020 at Newark High School.
Hailey has been active in the following at NHS National Honor Society, a volunteer Math and English tutor, marching band – section leader in percussion, art club and on the archery team. In our community she has volunteered with the Licking County Humane Society and helped last year with the Historic Hudson Community Association’s Neighborhood Clean-up.
When I notified Newark High School’s Guidance Dept. and the A Call to College Program Leader that Hailey was the scholarship winner – both were ecstatic of the HHCA’s Scholarship Committee’s choice assuring me that we picked an outstanding young lady as our recipient of the $1,000 award.
Congratulations Hailey! We are proud to call you “neighbor”.
